Après un 1er appel en 2022 qui avait déjà fait la part belle aux projets belges avec 3 films noir-jaune-rouge parmi les 6 projets soutenus, dont Augure de Baloji récemment primé à Cannes, le fonds New Dawn soutient 6 projets dont 5 projets belges à l'occasion de son 2e appel.
Parmi ces films, on retrouve 1 film d'initiative belge francophone soutenu à la production par le Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel (Mexico 1986 de César Diaz), ainsi que 3 films d'initiave belge néerlandophone soutenus par la Commission du Cinéma.
